will still be able to hit in the rain and what not
That is correct. Also the video equipment stays inside and set up. It saves on wear and tear on the equipment. Practice can happen in the rain. The inside is sloped to prevent ricochet of ball back to hitter. Two bays are for exclusive use of UL golf the third is for Oakbourne Members. There will be a repair shop for clubs in the hitting building. The other building will have locker room, coaches office and storage.

---Generally speaking do golfers that sign with UL lower their scores significantly over their career here? What kind of improvement is say average? Do our golfers shoot below, par, or above par???

I know that Coach Theo is highly thought of and has really brought in some nice talent the last few years. I think this facility will go a long way for years to come, with regards to refuting as much as improving. College golf is a little confusing to follow at times, but we did have a guy in the NCAA's last year.
