Just look at his stats this year. Terrible. And at the D-1aa level.
What's he supposed to do? Keep bouncing around to different programs until he finds a head coach that knows how to use him properly? lol. Or maybe he just can't find an offensive line and receivers worthy of his greatness.
"The best that never was, a wasted talent." I can see the 30 for 30 coming already
Or maybe NW is awful.. because they are. /and maybe you're refusing to look at the facts.. because you are.

    But hey.. 🐸☕️

LOL. The facts are in front of you MAT.

Don't worry, maybe someday Haack will find the right program.

I agree with you on one thing though. NWST is awful

Remember in Huds first few years here when just about every first Cajun possession of each game Gautier / B-Way would take a shot down the field? That would set the tone for the rest of the game. Now if we aren't running McGuire off tackle we are throwing the ball behind the LOS for a loss of yardage.

And that all begins and ends with Hud. Is he afraid of throwing down field? Does he think too many long passes will affect his next extension? We laugh and joke, but maybe he has some kind of brain disease that really makes him think this is going to work.

I'd settle for an intermediate crossing route. Who caught the last one of those, Harry Peoples?

I see talent out there but it's like the coaches are afraid to use it. I know the offensive line is struggling but running up the middle does not seem like a good idea if your OL is not up to par.

I will say this though, Hud knows more about football, and especially this team, than I will ever know. It's easy and fun for us to question everything, but none of us know as much about what's goes on in the locker room at meetings and at prictice than Hud.JMO

Coaches like to make football sound a lot more complicated than it really is.. truth is, unless you've spent zero time around originaized football, he probably doesn't know all that much more about the overall game than you do.

As for your first comment, all you have to do is look at the Florida game. Muschamp gift wrapped a program changing win for Hudspeth and what happened? We went into a shell, Florida sensed it, came roaring back and the rest is history. The man coaches scared. It's not up for debate. The tape proves it.

Florida seems like a long time ago doesn't it? We were pretty good that year under Hud. Maybe, just maybe, he can get us back there.

Or so we are made to believe that is the case. Who knows what the answer is? Prolly Hud. That's about it. Is he completely out of his league at the moment? Or is there some other reason why he feels compelled to coach every game from his backseat? Think about how damaging this has to be to the players he recruited. You see a team have a pretty good offense, moving the ball at will most of the time. Then you get to campus...and you get the current offense. Think about what that does to the confidence of those players. Some are worried about our criticisms affecting the players, how about the coaches actions? It's like Hud doesn't trust his players, or he chooses not to. Regardless of what he does or doesn't know, the man is ____ing the dog right now. You can be Bear Bryant, and you pull the kind of ____ Hud does, and you need to answer some questions. Screw the benefit of the doubt, we don't have that much room for error.

Or maybe, just maybe, it was the harbinger of things to come. The overwhelmed coach trying to fake it until he made it. Being exposed in a game that could have written him an SEC contract. Showing how little he knew, or how little faith he had in his players. Let's rewind, who did Hud blame for that loss?
