I don't think anyone here has ever thought ill of Jalen. We have questioned how he got used by the powers that be.

I feel bad for Nixon. I think he got a bad wrap with many of our fans. I know, some will say that he was playing out of position blah blah, however, all reports indicate that he was an exceptional part of the team and a solid leader. You can't understate how important that type of player is to a program. Its a shame his career will end like that.

I really hate to hear that! I thought it looked pretty bad on TV. Nixon, I don't know if you read this board or not, but if you do keep your head up man. If you attack life with the same amount of heart you attacked football, there is no doubt in my mind you will be successful. Proud that you wore the Vermilion and White! Good luck to you.

Same here. It sucks to see that kids career end that way. He gave the program so much.

I was truly scared for him Saturday. That still doesn't mean he was a starting QB. Everyone hoped he'd be great, exactly like we wish that on all our players.

I think he's a good player put in a tough position. I really respect him and wish him well.

I thought it was interesting that after the Cajuns scored a TD with him at quarterback he went to the end of the line as a blocker on the extra point team.

Heard on the radio yesterday Hudspeth hopes he coaches in his future and would love for him to be a grad assistant here.
