I was no fan of Nixon as a QB there is no denying that. But he was only doing what he was asked of by his coaches. The passion he had showed. Hate to see him go down like this.

Sorry to hear this. While I didn't think he was a true QB, he was a GREAT runner and clearly tough as nails. Big loss for the team

I figured his knee was jacked up from the way it looked on TV. Very sorry for that young man. I wanted to see him succeed where he belonged. He really played tough. I love every player that wears our colors and works hard - whether they make it onto the field on Saturday or not. Jalen had moments with us as brilliant as any. Thank you Jalen. Godspeed.

I don't think anyone here has ever thought ill of Jalen. We have questioned how he got used by the powers that be.

I feel bad for Nixon. I think he got a bad wrap with many of our fans. I know, some will say that he was playing out of position blah blah, however, all reports indicate that he was an exceptional part of the team and a solid leader. You can't understate how important that type of player is to a program. Its a shame his career will end like that.
