He either does not know the pass routes of the receivers or he does not have the arm to get the ball to the receiver on precise routes.

Jordan Davis needs to be given a chance. He can't be worse than Jennings. If Davis doesn't progress, then on to the next QB. But Jennings is indecisive in both the passing game and run game. Or he is scared to run the ball. Desormeaux was the best option QB I ever saw in the current era. Brian Mitchell was the other. I wish Desormeaux could work more closely with the QB's to explain and teach how he determined when was the best time to hand off or to keep and run.

I'm on the JD band wagon. Jay and Scott play a game called "fill in the blank". Given the history of the QB position under Hudspeth's tenure, Anthony Jennings has started the 2016 season as the starting QB; the starting QB by the end of the season will be __________________.

    Not going to be Jennings.
If Jordan Davis is not better than Nixon the future of the QB position is not looking good for the Cajuns. Will they go juco or count on the kid from Scotlandville that has not signed yet?

Dion went in for one play yesterday in the Wildcat. He had about a four yard gain and somewhat slipped at the end...I'd like to see more.

Hell put in Gunner! He looked efficient in the spring.

He probably is, just hasn't won over the coaching staff yet. Think Gautier in his sophomore year.

Should never have removed Jennings. Even with the turnovers he is our best shot.

I agree he is our best option in most cases...yesterday was not that case, as evident in Nixon's 11 point come back, a change, albeit brief, was necessary.

Two weeks ago Hud was on the AJ train. He prepared. He protected the football, he was the leader of this offense. Dude was blowing him. His revamped defense played 4 quarters of good football against Tulane, and got blown away in overtime. And he didn't have the testicular fortitude to go for 2 when he had some momentum in the second overtime....and ALLLL of a sudden it's Jennings fault. I ain't buying it. Hud is famous for throwing players under the bus in media. Not saying Jennings has been GREAT, but still by far the best option. By far

does anyone know if the call on the field was correct when we got a five yard running into the kicker but also a personal foul after the change of possession. No an expert but I would have though they would get one or the other but not both penalties.

I did not see or hear what the PF was for, but the 5 yard penalty for running into the kicker was a good call.

Nixon's injury looked serious. Had a wooden splint on it and kid was in a lot of pain.

The way it was explained to me was since we got a running into the punter penalty, it became 4th down again and therefore we never had possession of the ball and the dead foul is added to the 4th down instead.

Anyone think the Nixon hit was dirty? At first I did but after seeing the slow-mo version of the replay I wasn't sure.
