Think about it this way. Hud was able to take Bustle's players and turn it into something special. I think the players Hud recruited are above his head. Fire Hud, bring in the right coach who can take the better athletes and put them in the right position to succeed, we might be looking at something better than New Orleans Bowl 4 years in a row.

It would be stupid to buy out his contract. Who the hell on the staff could replace him? The OC? Let's try Eli up middle again and see if it works.

It wasn't all on coaching though. AJ was terrible. Nixon gave us a shot, but ultimately they could only run "the Nixon package" with him. QB keeper works on occasion, but that's no way to run an offense. It was the same crap we did last year with a 4-8 success. It stings more because our relievers are more talented this year.

It's got to the point were I watch them like I watch the Saints. Get excited for a few plays, but ultimately they'll look aweful. You can't get too down, but football has taken a turn to becoming un watchable.

Our DC is a former head coach. Is Davis so bad now that he won't play him and say that he was forced to put Jennings back in? What a cluster ______.

This team is playing hard and executing the plays sent in. I think they are playing as a team for THEMSELVES and not the COACHING STAFF. Don't know what's going on behind closed doors but I have a feeling it ain't good. If this was Huds last contract year would he be toast by this Athletic Department? We are not like some other school when the alumni says he has to go and the AD say, your wish is granted. By Hud's post game, I see this staff breaking down in may ways. "If I have to put in the fourth QB I will. I was forced to put AJ back in". What a remark..........

If that's the case why did skip over the backup qb to put in the wildcat qb? Does he really think that highly of Nixon and that lowly of Davis? Looking at the play calling and who gets the majority of the touches I'm now of the opinion that he doesn't believe in his players. I really don't think he can actually evaluate film to see where he's going wrong. That or he has a case of Les-itis and is just stubborn.

---So Nixon comes off the Bench---8-13 passing and averages 6 and a half yards per rush---had a couple of drops --one of which would have kept a drive going!!!----I would guess that his days of FB are over but sure like this kid how he stayed out of trouble after some crap and was always team ---loved how he subbed for B-Way in the bowl game ----and his 250/250 game will be up there with the all time Cajun QB performances!!!
