We lost to a team that is at least 2 years away from having enough personnel to run the system they want. There is no way to sugar coat it to protect Hud. He ____ed the dog. Whether or not he wants to take responsibility is moot. It's his massive failure, one of several we have witnessed over the past 5 years. It's not time to move on, it's time for Hud to take ownership of HIS failures. You can shove your head in the sand if you want...

I suppose where we differ is I see the 4 turnovers as the reason we lost. That wasn't on Hud. Did he call a perfect game, hell no. But the players have to execute.

My thoughts

We should have won the game in regulation. Turnovers gave them this game. When we got a turnover inside the 10 HUD played basically for a field goal with 3 straight runs (also may have cost the game).
The offense struggled against a good defense, like I thought.
You guys need to credit their D a little more. That's a fast and physical bunch of guys.
Our D played well for the most part

LOL. Just like the tech poundings, before the game started it was huge for a multitude of reasons. Now that we pizzed it away, "the sky isn't falling"..

That was another colossal let down, and another step backwards in perception, recruiting and in state respect.

And... Turnovers did not cost us that game. That's a lazy observation.

Yes. Regardless if we won or not, our coaches failed the team, and its becoming a recurring theme.

Would there have been OT without -3 turnover margin? I'm betting no.

I have no dog in this fight over Huds credibility. He does things that I question as well. Our team played well, but turnovers killed us. If you didn't know points would be at a premium going in to this game, you weren't paying attention. We coulda done this, shoulda done that, but the bottom line is we have them easy points on turnovers.

Turnovers are the reason Louisiana didn't win by 9 in regulation.

Turnovers and O-Line decimation were why play calling crawfished and UL didn't win in a blowout.

The ONLY thing that puts that accomplishment in perspective is Arkansas State lost to Central Arkansas to drop to 0-4. Wow.
