As I said, according to the athlete he was offered recently by Tulane, Southern Miss and Louisiana Tech. If we are going to play Coach Lucas system going forward, we need 240-250 pound DE's that can get up the field. Athletes that or 6'5, 250 and can move like Gibson don't sign with SBC programs. App State had one that was drafted this year, he transferred in from a P5 program. You can't play 295-300 pound DL on the edge and expect to get a pass rush. BTW, the Cajuns best pass rusher today Trev Miller is 6'1, 270 and he received interest from a number of small programs. Osborne is 245 and Joe Dillon is 235, that is the direction we are going now. I will save my judgment when the kid is on the field.

I also was just foolin' with everyone; I knew from T he had offers with larger schools than what was mentioned in the article.

I hope he makes it to campus here and is a GREAT player for us.
