I was happy to see us move to a 4 man front. Also the true freshmen safety dem'marren Mitchell is going to be pretty good

Damn, you guys ____y after a victory huh. Go ahead and delete the thread Turbine.
F-it!
The best thing about beating the BrokeBACKS is you didn't lose.
Get real dude. The games in this conference that don't create that feeling are App, GSU, and stAte
Fired a coordinator after one week, new coordinator goes from 3 to 4 man front and we win a game.....if you dont mind I'll enjoy this for a couple of days....
He loves to take credit don't he
There is a lot of talent on this team.....young talent. We grew up a little on both sides of the ball tonight. We'll get a good indicator next week as to where this team is headed....and....damn, Jennings is good.
The victory allows us to continue to feel relief and it gains some redemption for 2007. I wanted to play the game so as to erase the memory of 9 years ago. We have won the last time we played in Lake Charles (1986) and here tonight. When McNeese folks bring up the old days, it will be nice to remind them of that fact. Now that has happened, I would be fine with not playing these guys for the rest of my life. I know the talent was not what we faced last week but I did see some improvement tonight. We were not in the wrong alignments nearly as often on defense and the OL got some good push at times. Still too many penalties of course but some of those were of the hustle variety. In fact, those penalties prevented this from being a blowout. The one on Gordon before the delay stopped a drive which would likely have resulted in at least three points. The illegal procedure on the one yard line cost us four points and the targeting late in the game allowed the last Cowboy TD. If we can reduce those flags, we may be decent by season's end.
Just enjoy it. Drink a beer because it's been nearly a year since we won. Grambling is beating Zona by multiple scores in the 3 rd quarter. Watch that.
I will as well Lou. As I often say, EVERY victory is precious. I say that in all sincerity as the alternative sucks. It also does not give credit to the guys for working hard to get the right result when you do not appreciate a win. As I said in another thread, a few penalties kept this from being a blowout. That does not mean everything is hunky dory. We all recognize there is lots of room for improvement. We can start worrying about that in a couple of days.
I don't feel anything but relieved.
