Our defense is swiss cheese.
Our defense is swiss cheese.
I can't think of a single thing to complain bout.
They didn't average much per play. We gave up more big pass plays than we should have. We were the more dominate team and the score doesn't reflect it accurately. We have to improve but this game was never in doubt in my mind.
Meh
Cajuns still have a very long way to go to be a good football team, but there were a few bright spots from individual players, McGuire, Jennings, Bradley, Miller. Stupid play by Miller could cost the Cajuns big next week, though.
All in all, this W is much better than the alternative, but definitely not a cause for a whole lot of optimism.
Geaux Cajuns
No. 10 on defense got burnt on that last series and looked really slow.
It's a victory. Probably one that we may not have gotten last year due to our quarterback play. Jennings was pretty good. He missed a few throws but manager the game well. The offense, again, had a few drives killed by penalty.
Defense has some holes, but got pressure for the most part. The defensive penalties were bad. I counted 3 drives extended by penalty. McNeese State scored on all 3. Grow up guys.
We protected the ball. Very good. We got 2 turnovers, yes 2 regardless of the refs.
Drink up. Enjoy it. McNeese State can suck it for another decade.
On the way home now. Congrats to the Cajuns. You physically whipped us tonight.
Doc
