Spikes has great vision of the field that he puts to good use when navigating in open space. He slashes for that last upfield yard and always seems to fall forward. Very efficient, not alot of side to side stuff, north to south runner that loses little momentum when he cuts...
Here is a video of him in case you have not seen him, please pardon thedistortion in the middle of it, but be sure to wait through the distortion as his best effort is after that section :-)

DrumRoll... CajunT compared Spikes this morning to Deon Wallace -- a quick slasher with break away speed. What kind of runner is Streeter?
There is no doubt that this guy will help immediately. He is very talented and really has another gear. However, if you notice, on his film most of his big runs come with really nice blocking down field. We had better hope that our OL blocks better than they did last year and hope that the coaches clear better lanes for him to run through than just the A gap which fenroy made popular for 4 years. We need to get him on the outside quite a bit more for him to do what he does best. I just hope we A) sign him B) adjust the running game to allow for his and Robert Walkers talents.
In talking with their coaches and themselves, Walker and Spikes are about the same size, both very strong in the weight room and have tremendous speed. Streeter is also speedy and had some interest. All have and can return kicks, too, and will bring a speed element and play-making ability that the team lacked in the backfield in 2009.
Walker had an offer from North Carolina. Spikes had offers from UNLV and Utah and interest from Purdue and Kansas State. Streeter had offers from Middle Tennessee and Wyoming and interest from Clemson and Oregon.
I don't think you'll find a better group of tailback signees for any Sun Belt school in 2010.
