We were there til deep into the 2nd quarter. We sat in section A and it was just as hot as the student side. But the play on the field was ad nauseam. The fans were not the problem.

22K is pretty much what I expected considering the circumstances of a poor record last year, early morning start and low hype by this administration. The fans had nothing to do after about 15 minutes into the game but either leave or stay and get pizzed and depressed at how poor of a team we have. I stayed until the very end. What else was I going to do after driving from Houston that morning to see that crap. I don't blame anyone for not staying. This administration from the Pres. on down, really deserves an empty stadium.

Saturday could be my last day as a season ticket holder. They don't care about us. They take every chance to blame us, and belittle us...when we are not the problem. Fed up. We should not waste our time with an athletic program that does not want us. Let them die on the vine.
I quit reading or listening to Mr. Moon when he took offense to being identified as a spokesman for the administration. He keeps claiming to be a 'journalist', but sadly refuses to actually become one.
'Fans' are a problem at English soccer matches when they riot. 'Fans' are a problem when they commit assault on players, referees or the opposing team's fans. 'Fans' who don't show up for football games are never a problem, nor even a minuscule part of the problem.
Coaches who put a clown show of a product on the field, administrators who demand nothing of themselves or of the coaches they employ and university shills who gloss over the failures of coaches and administrators are all parts of the problem. 'Fans' are not.

But hey, it's Terrible Tunes Tuesday so I'm sure we'll get to hear absolutely ZERO about this past weekends events, this upcoming game this weekend, etc.
1420.....laugh out loud
The fan problem is that 22k paid to watch it. Only a mass strike will get t-jo to do the right thing.
