Your point? McNeese was not even a school then.
Lmao! And I wouldn't call it playing "for" ULL when I was just trying to have some fun with you guys.
I love how that little bull____ you shared tries to spin it as if SLII was some great school. It was probably the closest to home.
They can't talk about football. They're scared we'd bring up the smoke and mirrors scheduling and point out that the ONLY reason they went from 6-5 to 8-3 was because the quit playing as many money games and as many decent teams and - instead - loaded up on weak sister Gang of 3 Schools and even weaker FCS schools like Nicholls, Nwstrn (while they're down) and Southern.
Go back to scheduling with balls, like they did before Hud, and they'd have the exact same results...
Uh, because it can???
Not sure what there is to question. One of the largest ports in the country, industrial hub, casinos...
Not seeing the issue here. Seems pretty obvious to me. That fake ___ culture in Lafayette is the only difference. There's more culture in the rice fields of Vermilion Parish than there is in all of Lafayette.
Because, clearly, the Louisiana Legislature took stock of Southwestern Louisiana Institute and deemed it inadequate to handle the educational needs of the Southwest portion of the state.
I think you guys would have been better served by changing your name to something more appropriate like City College of South Central Louisiana @ Lafayette, instead of Southwestern Louisiana or trying to vaingloriously social climb your way to University of Louisiana Status.
Those poor bastards in Monroe must hate it to have to share the name with you guys...I'm pretty confident that if they had it to do all over, they'd make a different decision...
Well, seems like a logical premise. To evaluate where a FCS school is as a program, you gauge yourself against good FCS programs who win playoff games.
I mean, I guess we could gauge ourselves against Slum Belch teams, but since we've never lost to one, what would be the point? Hasn't been much of a challenge...
