I look at Lake Charles and McNeese and think...Why.
They are stuck in a time warp of 30 years ago. Either come over to Acadiana and rejoin your historical ties or keep going west to the promised land of Texas.
Why stay?
---Oh wait now Brokeback---be careful with the phallic references and thoughts that could accompany them
might give rise to something other than the real thing in the rectum and possibly a burning sensation from pepper insertions!!! Now you have to admit that is rather funny---anyway--somebody find the 2 cowboy riders!!!
Guys, he's right, but for the wrong reasons.
There has been a slight decrease in money games, but the real difference between the Bustle years and Hudspeth years is in strength of schedule.
The last several years have been some of the easiest in terms of strength of schedule since the 1-A split.
Our first round games aren't useless.....They tell us where we're at as a program. Clearly, we have some things to work on, but they're very effective.
In 2007, for example. We thought we'd turnee the corner after going 11-0 in the regular season, while trouncing an alleged FBS school 38-17, but...it turns out that we still weren't able to get out of the first round of the playoffs.
Just goes to show you that the level of competition in the FCS playoffs is fairly high...certainly tougher than beating up on a Slum Belch team...
Hell of an attitude after sucking it up in the playoffs, after coming off a 6-5 standing lossing to Lamar, SE La, and the other children of the poor.
Historical ties? Do explain. Because I would bet you don't know what you're talking about.
You dumb fricks didn't even embrass the culture of your area until the 1970s when you FINALLY changed your name to "Cajuns". I mean, how much more generic can you get than "bulldogs".
At least our name embrassed the history of the area from the start.
But at least your thought isn't as dumb as the idiot who thinks our name is "at Lake Charles".
