This dude. We're comfortable with where we're at, as a program. I know how you guys love alternative metrics as a measure of where you're at with that whole Pentaphlegm thing, or whatever you call that selectively weighted calculation designed to provide your program with some semblance of relevance...perhaps you should have sent it to the Indy Bowl a few years back? I'm guessing they didn't the memo on how to read it, maybe?
But, I digress...
When you evaluate yourselves as a program, and you do a cost benefit analysis of the amount of taxpayer money you spend versus the number of wins it buys, don't you find yourselves forced to reconsider all the money you waste?
You're paying Hud, what, a million a year and you got 4-8 out of it? Hell, you were getting that with the other guy for a lot less.
I forget what you guys get from the State, but it's roughly, what, twice what McNeese gets from the state?
Hell, look at your series with LSU. 22 games in Tiger Stadium and not a single TD to show for it....88 quarters of big time football and you guys can't even find the endzone once....
The good news is your kickers have earned their keep....
Don't you guys feel at least a LITTLE guilty for not giving Louisiana Tax Payers their money's worth?
Hell, you've gotten, what, 9 million in state funding during the last three years that you've played at LSU, and scored six points? What's that work out to, $1.5 million a point?
Meanwhile, we got something like 1.7 million from the state and took a lead on LSU by scoring first..and then took a second lead after they tied it....so....the Lousiana Tax Payer got a bargain by comparison at something like $170K per point.
Seriously, doesn't it bother you to take charity from the state like that?
Been waiting 9 years to come post here!! Hahahaha
