Wentz is a special talent. No one can name a single other player in 1AA (maybe flacco?) because no one cares. Btw, where are all those McNeese greats playing in the NFL these days, I must have missed that??

Why would we have nightmares about holding the nation's leading rusher, a Heisman Trophy candidate, to 54 yards on 17 attempts? Yeah, he had ONE good play, but why would that be cause for nightmares?

If we're going to have nightmares about that game, it would probably be because we had a miscue on the goal line two minutes before Abdullah's play that cost us a touchdown....

Well...I suppose we could always move up and follow the USL model of being the rent-a-win of the week until we land in a conference like the Sunbelt, but after the way the last two FCS teams ran through that league like a hot knife through butter when they moved up, I'm guessing that door will be slammed shut.

Of course, you have to play both of those teams this year instead of getting to feast on hapless Georgia State again...should be interest to see how it all works out...

So you saying you enjoy being in SLC and finishing 3rd? And to put McNeese on a GaSouthern and App St level is laughable. We both know those two were about as good as that level of football has ever seen. I'm not convinced y'all would win District 3-4A.

MAT, it really is irrelevant what you think. You can ____ on the FCS all you want, but your whole damn conference is made of former FCS teams that play damn good football. I hope ULL never has to lower itself to the FCS, because they would not fare well againsy most teams.
