Exactly. Not sure what their new head coach is making but when Viator left for ULM he was making less than 150K. Enough is enough....we have given them the resources now everyone from the head coach down to the waterboy needs to man up and take care of business this week.

No matter what anyone says or thinks.. Losing to McNeese will effectively end this program as we know it, and when conferences shuffle in 2-4 years and we're left out, they may close the doors all together.

Line isn't out yet, but Mcneese is better

We couldn't improve in months what gives you the idea we will improve in 6 days. Mcneese not only wins but runs away with it.

Some of us diehards of yesteryear didn't have one victory against McNeese during the entire time we were in college. McNeese has a psychological edge over us due to their dominance in the last two decades of the series. It ended bitterly over the Cliff Newman's arrogance over the 1984 slam dunk of our name change. I would sign a 20-year contract to play them every year because I think we're spinning our wheels until we get to where we can beat them consistently.

Anyone who doesn’t think this is a huge game is kidding themselves. The ability to dominate an FCS opponent, this one in particular, impacts financial support, recruiting, name recognition, and our image.

It's not a conference game according to Jay Walker. It means nothing.

Anyone who is fixated on an FCS team for twenty years is sick. Move on and quit worrying about this game, the series is over forever unless we move back.

The rest of the SBC isn't bringing in McNeese, it's an eastward inclined conference. IMO they would be just as happy to see both Texas schools adios.

Say we beat the BrokeBacks next week, does that cure your hurt? Not a chance.
