--There is one significant fact that is happening in the area--a huge population expansion and a huge number of great paying jobs

plans are being put together of what type of housing will be available/built for the numbers coming into that area---My hope is that we recruit very well for students and increase our enrollment to come to the Lafayette area

It is a 45 minute drive from Lafayette to Cal Parish!!!

Lafayette has a few Computer Giants that have just announced they are coming bringing 1,000+ jobs. Hopefully, Acadiana, can recruit some Billion Dollar industry project, as LC has done. Workers need to realize they can live outside of the Cancer Alley Red Stick and LC and live in between them both with 45 min to 1 hour travel time or less to Acadiana!!!

We should not be playing any 1AA teams period - that's lazy scheduling by the AD! We need to be playing any 1A (FBS) team from coast to coast - but laziness dictates we play these lower level teams - we need the mantra of "Anybody, Anywhere, Anytime!" I understand the irony of that statement - but it is intended to imply to play at or above our level - not below it! And what are we going to pay these idiots?

Uh no. Name another 1-AA school that did everything in their power to keep us from remaining D1 in football and fought as hard as they did in the 84 name fight.

It's not about old guys. It's about every time we try to improve on some front, broke backs are the first in line crying foul.

I like the way our scheduling has been put together lately and we have no control right now when it domes to sunbelt games. Do you want to go back to playing 3 money games a year and having 3 guaranteed losses?
