McNeese Week 2016

I was at that game in Lake Charles 28 years ago. Cajuns kicked butt, LC media meltdown over the then USL sweatshirts with the little Cajun dropping a deuce in a McNeese helmet. A great way to be done with a school that has tried on multiple fronts to hold us back. But no.....had to play those maggots again.

I know it's easy pickings financially for UL, and win or lose, Cajuns aren't traveling to LC for football. Why the hell play them where they make serious money? They are struggling budget wise. Let them sink like the turds they are.

Have at it. They are suppose to dislike us. They do not have a lot going for them. They are playing high school teams now in their conference as everyone that can, has bolted the Southland Conf. In our darkest days, we will never be like McNeese. We have left them waaaay behind. Just like Tech, just like Monroe, they will never make up any ground on us.

I don't have a problem playing McNeese at all. You are correct, now they are just another annual 1-AA team on the schedule. As a matter of fact, I would like to play them another 2 or 3 times, kick their azz and then push them out to pasture, never to be heard from again! I'm all for it.

Delusional, I believe is the correct adjective to associate with their fan base. No matter how much success we have, they will still hold onto the past and some how consider themselves superior.

It's not about old guys. It's about every time we try to improve on some front, broke backs are the first in line crying foul.

------There is one significant fact that is happening in the area--a huge population expansion and a huge number of great paying jobs----plans are being put together of what type of housing will be available/built for the numbers coming into that area---My hope is that we recruit very well for students and increase our enrollment to come to the Lafayette area----It is a 45 minute drive from Lafayette to Cal Parish!!!
