I know. And it's not just a matter of being bigger......we are so much better in any category you can look at: quality of life in Lafayette vs LC? UL academics vs msu? Athletics? I mean none of these are even close, or debatable. And how do you think that they can explain all of the construction on our main campus, as well as on our athletic campus?
But yeah, we are the 'little brother,' LOL.
No, according to one of their double naught spies who claims to ride through campus regularly we are paying for thus athletic facility boom by neglecting academic buildings. I guess it might be hard to notice all the academic infrastructure improvements from the back of a garbage truck at zero dark thirty.
I'm not discounting their wins against us. In fact, I believe they have a lead in the all time series in football. Heck, I even congratulated some of their fans after the game in 07'. However, we all know how times have changed. Their claims of superiority are based on the past and stated simply for the sake of demeaning us. No rational person would believe that MSU has a superior university or athletic program to UL.
Lol....I know. On another post on their site a while back, one of them actually said that other than 'routine maintenance,' nothing was happening on our main campus. When I tried to post a list of all the recent construction projects, not only was the post not allowed, but they also BANNED me from the site. Guess that explains how you get and stay so delusional: ignore all facts and reality, lol.
uhhh... We had Chery, Desermoux, Fenroy. They beat us.
And we had Rickey Bustle, who had no killer instinct and find not heed the warning of fans as to the stakes in thus game. Mcneese spent their entire offseason preparing for that opening game. Rickey took it as just another tune up game (remember his almost annual quote about the "real season" once non-conference play was over) and paid the price for it.
It should have been a tune up game but it wasn't. They beat us, they were better. We didn't have a bad team either.
