We aren't losing to frickin Mcneese. Yes, I was at the game in 07. They aren't Boise, if you thought we'd hang with or beat Boise you weren't being realistic. If you think we get our ___ handed to us again by Mcneese, you aren't being realistic.

But he's no slouch. He just needs to take advantage of the Talent and Pure athleticism that we have.

All the negacajuns are pointing their fingers at the wrong guy. I mean, who do we get if we get rid of him, MATT VIATOR?!?! He didn't win anything with the Pokeys.

Ya'll have turned on him like a light switch. It's pathetic!! One game does not a season define!

Now come on you Nancies!! Get your funderwear on and let's do work!!

That's the spirit, even though your name is pretty crappy.

No one turned on him. These are the same comments that were made going back to the skull dragging at home by LaTech.

    Welcome new guy.

Shut the ____ up with this LSU ____. We don't have their budget, and margin of error.

There is a reason we are in the FBS and they aren't. We are bigger, and we are better. We will NOT lose to the cowgirls!

We are the University of Louisiana!! Now get over this stupid Boise game already!
A loss to Boise St was not something that would bother me. Never thought we had a chance, even with the sucker punch we tried to give Boise with a 11am start.
As far as SEC talent, based off your only name giving, Jennings, that is highly unlikely and up for debate.
As for being in the FBS and they aren't, we have been "bigger and better" than plenty of the teams we sucked it up against. NMSU beat us last year. You think they have a better overall program than McNeese? They're aint much difference in talent between them minus RB Rose.
University of Louisiana means diddly ____ to only a few of us. And we are nowhere near getting anyone else to say our name with respect much less the way we would like to be referred to.

    McNeese by 7.

LSU fans looking like they were right.. Again.

Anyway, that's the most played out thing to say on RP. It used to bother me, but now I realize it's just the cheerleaders waving their Pom Pom's that use that term. Same people who give to RCAF like its a charity and expect nothing to change. Just fine with the way things have be done for 40 years.

Those kind of people aren why our program can never get out of a rut. If that makes me an "LSU fan" so be it. It beats the alternative.

Except in basketball, in which case it means nothing unless it's the tournament

Some of you guys are unbelievable. You played fricking Boise St. Our first game was with a weak Div II team called Tarleton St. out of a town of 18,000 called Stephensville, TX.

The score of our game was very deceiving. There were a lot of warts hidden in the score. We played a very inconsistent game against a weak Div II team. They jumped out to a 3-0 lead and we didn't even tie the score until about 10 minutes left in the second quarter. We didn't go ahead until about the 5 minute left mark in the half. We couldn't hardly complete a pass in the first quarter. Our line gave up about 3 or 4 sacks to this Div II team. I think we finally wore them down in the 3rd quarter and our offense showed a few signs of life.

On defense, the stats looked pretty good but they didn't have much of a running game so we could pretty much ignore that. I think your backs and running game are a little better than Tarleton's. Plus, we have a patchwork secondary (which was young to start with) right now due to injuries and suspensions.

We still have a new coaching staff, Qb's trying to adapt to a new offense, and an offensive line that is thin in depth and still learning to play with each other.

You have more scholarships than us and therefore more depth of talent.

And your guys are probably pretty well ____ed off right now and I'm afraid we are going to catch the brunt of their anger. You shouldn't have too much trouble with us (this is not the 1970's anymore) and I just hope we can keep from getting blown out.

    Doc

Doc, I respect your honest evaluations and you seem to have a good eye for your team. But put a Cajuns jersey on and you ll see how we are not any where we thought we would be under Huds regime. I'm not even talking about being top 20. I'm simply talking about being competitive with top 40 programs on a somewhat basis.
