Which Vermillion propaganda site is THAT from?

The State of Louisiana's Board of Trustees with full rights and privileges' as written in the Constitution as "rights" not reserved for the Legislature and not vested in the Board of Regents voted 17-1 through the to change the name of the school.
The difference in this State is no one wanted the name, they just suddenly didn't want UL to have it even though Flagship was never an issue.
First, Turbine, thank you for your class in responding to this McNeese/LSU guest on your site. You have shown much dignity in your use of facts, rather than opinions about the political maneuvering of LSU and McNeese to hold back UL from being the best university it can be. I was at UL in 1984 when we were legally known as Louisiana, and was sickened by the backhandedness and venom from LSU and the lesser-achieving schools in this state. At the time I was taking computer classes since UL had a nationally recognized computer class. It has forever soured me against LSU. And I went to school there for two years.
This guest should know that you, Turbine, was the founder and continuing moderator of this board and could have banned him at any time. But you have too much class for that. However, the "Turdbine" comment has completely obviated any credibility this UL - hater has. I will also add that I have now found a single argument he has made to be convincing in any way, shape or form.
As an earlier poster note, this guest should file suit if he is that convinced of his position. Louisiana Ragin Cajuns is a registered trademark and any fool, except this guest, has to be aware this was fully vetted by UL's legal rep's before submitting the paperwork for trademarking.
Also, Turbine, thank you for installing the "ignore" function so I do not have to listen to this pompous windbag anymore. Thank goodness I do know he is not representative to the real McNeese fans I know.
Actually, "Ragin Cajuns" is the federally registered Trade Mark.
Nobody takes exception to that.
Floating the idea that UL@L was able to Trademark "Louisiana Ragin Cajuns" is where you go off the reservation, speaking of convincing arguments.
The embrassmemt continues ⬆️
Texas has more than "a" flagship.
On the subject of flagships Im only addressing your phobia and fears and I am not suggesting the State add flagship schools.
In Texas all these Systems have a Flagship.
- University of Houston System
– University of North Texas System
– University of Texas System
– Texas A&M University System
– Texas Tech University System
