Then miraculously ONE-YEAR after shutting down UL(1965) on their New Iberia land, LSU establishes (1966) an all-new institution in Eunice.

What LSU wants, LSU gets.

Did U-S-L try to establish a campus in Eunice, where there was - ostensibly - a need?

If the answer is no, then I don't understand your complaint.

The La. Legislature approved a new institution of higher learning in an area where there was a need bona fide need.

1965 UL saw a need in Acadiana.

They were shut down.

1966 A mere 16 years after getting McNeese and ULM off their back, LSU addressed that need in Acadiana.
