Anyone entering the city limits of Kaplan on Highway 14 will soon see signs welcoming them to the city.

The two new brick structures will be placed near Kaplan High School on the east side, and the other will be placed near the Kaplan Post Office on the west side.

The signs will be built by Doe-Trails Brick Art and Sculpture of Parks, La.

The cost is $16,380 and will be paid for by interest on the city’s CDs.
