Granted TCU and Utah have moved to money conferences but they made their way in the so called little conferences.

As I stated in another thread losing to Boise in your first game isn't necessarily a bad thing. Oregon lost then went on to win the PAC, Virginia Tech lost then won the ACC, Georgia lost and won the SEC. Have faith in your team and go and win the Sun Belt!
Losing isn't the issue, I expected to lose, but this wasn't a loss, this was a nuclear meltown. Aside from punting, I saw exactly zero to make me think that this team could rebound this year. That said, usually in blowout losses, I get petty (I'm a fan, what can I say), but honestly, I can't look at a single thing that the broncos did today that made me think anything negative of your program, team, or fans. Seriously, I hope yall run the table, get to the playoffs and make some noise for all of us G5 schools out there.

Who gives a ____? UL Lafayette vs Louisiana should be the least of our concerns this football season.

You have a great team. You exploited our weaknesses (there were many), you quarterback is a stud, you're playmakers made plays, the defense was strong and sure tackled. You'll be tough to beat this year.

Our team on the other hand has issues in nearly aspect of the game aside from punting. We were mostly flying high from 11'-14' but we've appeared to come back to earth. I hope that changes. I miss winning.

I saw a very good Boise State team and there fans were impressed by our hospitality. Our QB is salvageable 33 passes no recorded int. Both lines ----- balls. We can't run or stop the run much less put pressure on the qb. At one point we had two down linemen what the what. Our coaches are to blame for this. You can't run an Auburn Def with UL/sunbelt talent. Its going to be a long season. Oh and whomever decided to play at 1100 in South Louisiana heat needs a psychological evaluation.

I have to say it was awesome to see Boise in person. Other than my alma mater, I pull for Boise every chance I can. Absolutely love what y'all have in football. Glad we could have y'all through Caju country. Good luck and I hope to see y'all in the 4-team playoff!

There's another positive, we didn't turn the ball over and made Boise fumble twice. Just could not recover them. Baby steps.

I liked Jennings decision making and he was smart with the ball. He got no help from the line or his receivers and the play calling was.....well, you saw it.

Don't forget penalties. Those are on coache's, and players. It's not talent jumping off sides, illegal formation. These are signs of an unprepared team beyond talent difference.

Someone asked for photos of the stadium during the game. This was in the 3rd quarter right around the time the snap went past Jennings.

Boise State appeared to be in better shape than UL. The heat sure didn't seem to bother them while our guys looked tired and slow.

When you try to sucker punch a great team with an 11am game in the heat and humidity, you better be able to back it up.
