There is not a coach I can think of who has not lost when the talent he used to have he no longer has. Lombardi being an exception, Tom Landry, Don Shula, Hank Stram, Bear Braynt, Bobby Bowden, Jo Paterno, all owe their careers to being outstanding coaches and having great talent, all lost when the talent dried up.

Yes App has more, and better players than UL.

No. They do not. The talent is similar, and really, we have a much bigger pool to draw from.

Name a WR, RB, QB, TE, LB, CB, S that was recruited out of HS and developed into a very good player. I'll wait. Eli, Blaine, TB, Jennings, Robinson, Peoples and Zo are exempt. Zo and Eli are superior talents that needed nothing but the football in their hands. The rest of those guys were groomed under other staffs.

The main areas we are lacking talent right now is on the line of scrimmage. There is no coaching an average guy into a raging bull. We need Bulls!
