My biggest concern is I didn't cut my grass this week like I wanted to.

Hawk, I would take some rain from you for us here in Houston. My grass crackles. But, we get our share next week.

Yep, I had to grab sandbags in Broussard earlier this morning. I've never had to do this in 24 years since I've built my house. Another round tonight.

Hwy 90 is a parking lot and all the roads in Youngsville are closed. Water was almost up to my window. Thank God my suspension is lifted.

Limbs been gone. I even put two stumps out the other day and I didn't even have to call to get them picked up.

There will be millions in damage before it's over. Have three of my family members with water in their homes. Some properties are 25-30 feet above sea level and flooded. Has to be poor drainage, very poor I shoud add.

I believe the news stated that 100+ homes have water in them in Youngsville.

Yep I'm only at 12' above, and the water level stayed 3 feet below my property height.

You have a large rain event and get flooded...in or out of a flood zone. Basic physics.
