    Then I don't think she knows what she is talking about. 108 billion in damage for Louisiana and over 134K housing units lost just in New Orleans. Much more for the whole storm.

    These floods are bad but they aren't going to top that number.

    Also while flood damage is devastating both individually and as a whole, it doesn't compare to flood and structural (wind) damage together.

    I'm not sure but inflation over the last 11 years could make this more costly.

    Every single day somebody catches it, it's keeping the vermillion at flood stage...I'm really praying we don't get a storm because I don't even want to think about what a storm surge would do right now.
