    I believe the news stated that 100+ homes have water in them in Youngsville.

    Yep I'm only at 12' above, and the water level stayed 3 feet below my property height.

    You have a large rain event and get flooded...in or out of a flood zone. Basic physics.

    This rain is starting to get ridiculous. I'm up at 3:00 in the morning because THE POUNDING RAIN WOKE ME UP! We're approaching 20 inches of rain in the last 48 hours at my house now.

    Well, Mrs. Zoom woke me up @ 4. Had to move work car parked @ street. Water @ rocker. Been picking up clutter, getting paint cans and jack stands together. 4" from putting rest of plan in motion.

    Can't get to Grandma Zoom who turned 90 recently. Down in the Berry on the bayou. Brother is dealing with that.

    God knows what we need and when. This morning's reading Ecclesiastes 1:2 (b)...everything is meaningless.

    It's all "stuff".
