Anyone in favor of the school colors and mascot? I'm diggin it. It's much better than a bland Tigers, Eagles etc. Hopefully by the time my son is able to attend, they'll have an established, and by established I mean successful athletic program.

Nope. been there done that. While Youngsville donated the land, a place which borders both cities, Broussard has paid a significant amount more money into the school board coffers. So this solution benefits all parties involved equally. That being said I think the fact that teachers are lining up to be a part of it is nice.

cool name, I agree that it is good to not have common name. not sure im sold on the colors, but it akes sense to match the mascot I guess. however, Youngsville'ers sounds pretty good too, lol
