he can learn how to work, he can learn how to watch film from him...he can learn how to prepare, he can learn how to be a leader...a lot he can learn. You keep hearing he has all the skills and tools In the world yet he still isn't the guy. Most likely the things I mentioned is what he struggles with. I doubt any of our QB's,including Broadway, have ever had to prepare like Jennings has for games.

I think you are giving LSU too much credit in their game day preparation. They win mostly on talent, pure and simple. When they play equal talent they might be .500. IMO Jennings has not done anything more than Davis except be a superior athlete surrounded by better players.

Jennings, admittedly in small glimpses that I've seen him, is a much better QB. Again, it's not close.

Ppl forget that the little things are what makes a good QB, not the talent. Vision, intuition, internal clock, decision making in crisis.. Davis is weak in all of those categories.

I have to say I am impressed that Jennings completed his bachelors degree in four years and a summer session. You see many athletes now minimizing hours so it takes five years to finish a degree. I don't know his curriculum, but it is still plenty of work so cu-do's to the young man.

EDIT: After looking at his history, it shows him being the backup for Mettenberger in the 2013 and starting the Outback Bowl in 2014 after Mettenberger's injury. If I'm adding correctly, he finished his degree in three years and a summer session. That is even more impressive.

He has prepared for and watched film on some of the best and most sound defenses in the country every single week. He has dealt with more adversity and pressure than all our QB's combined...did any of our QB's get death threats from our fans? I think you are blinded by a hate for lsu that makes you say irrational things. The kid graduated in 3.5 years and is now going for his masters, he is picking up our offense better in 5 days than the others in 5 months. Go listen to his interview with Ben Love and tell me if you think That our other QB's can't learn anything from this guy.

He'll be running an offense that suits his skill set. He'll perfect the zone read (Per Desormeaux's Guidance) and he'll be an even bigger threat to run and a more effective passer than Broadway (Jr-Yr). This only make Jordan Davis better, if he keeps his head, which I think he will.

This is the product I expect to see from AJ. His high school highlights below will closely mimic the version of him that we'll see this year as opposed to the "square block - circle hole" version at LSU.

He was coached by a pro offensive coordinator and qb Coach. They tried to force him to play in a pro set with a 5 step drop, that is not who this kid is and they should have recognized it. Anyone wants to see what he is capable of doing in our offense, go back and watch him in LSU'S bowl win he started

I'll keep saying it: Footwork. Any QB guru you speak to will harp on this.

    AJ: A
    JD: C-
    JN: Is a running back

Which I would imagine is a lot more complicated than what he is learning now...which is why it's used in the pros.

You may hate LSU, and it's players. I don't period. He may be a superior quarterback to Davis. My comments are isolated to what's Davis learning on the sidelines. Nothing, except patience as Jennings rode a lot of pine.
