If our O-Line can hold a pass block this year, I think the dynamic of this offense changes drastically. "If" AJ is as elusive as I've seen in the past and "if" he's spinning it like some are saying in practice, this offense could propel itself back to one of the top point producing O's in the country. I know it sounds outlandish, but the pieces are in place. With an o-line holding it's blocks and AJ can get to the corner when no one's open, this makes the field seem that much bigger to the opposing defenses.

I hope we come back to this post at the end of the year......

I really think we are looking at a 9 win year.

Hard to hit the side of a barn when you stick an "athlete" in a pro-style offense and make him stay in the pocket while SEC defenses are swarming around him. You get him in space (roll-outs, playactions, etc.) where he can make plays with his legs.

Crystal Ball Projections (If full season is played) - Our QB's tend to miss time every year.

Passing: 2800 yrds / 18 TD's
Rushing: 900 yrds / 10 TD's

Totals: 3700 yrds / 18 TD's

Actually, we play S. Alabama before Tulane so make that 3-1. After Tulane, we play NMSU, so we should be minimally 4-1 at that point hosting App State and possibly even 5-0.

I see now, I inverted those two games. Yes, I agree with that assessment as well. I will take 3-1 after the first four games, but lets see what we have and I will feel better about those records.

I have discussed AJ with a couple of lsu fans, at length. They warned that AJ was an all star at practice and got reps with the 1's, etc. But when the lights came on he wasn't the same guy. Idk if he was never comfortable, felt all the pressure was on or if miles never let the reins go long enough to see him succeed.

I don't think he was ever the type of "pro style" QB that miles' creams over. He is more the type of player Hud looks for in the shotgun and I think we have a chance to see him do some Broadway type things before Broadway was hurt.

Miles is an imbecile who can't locate his own orifices without a competent assistant. Most LSU fans know this and accept it.

LSU does less with more than any school in the history of organized football. AJ may turn out to be no good, but I ain't judging him on how he was utilized by Les Miles.

I don't feel sorry for those tards, but LSU has national championship roster and will lose 3 games because of the staff's inability to recruit a QB
