I disagree. The D was on the field 2/3 of the entire season last year.

Both ranked about the same in the SBC.

There's zero correlation in your stat. Of course if you can't stop anyone your offense will mirror your futility.

By the way? Time of possession was in offenses court 30.07 minutes a game. It seems your argument for time is even wrong.

True but we still had ZERO pressure from our defensive line last year...that has to change if we are going to have any any sort of successful season. jmo

HUD went 36-16 with very similar defenses, the defense wasnt great but they never have been. In previous years when our defense would get a stop our offense would follow with long clock controlling drives..last year they usually responded with a 3 and out or turnover.

I can't argue with facts. It just seemed the D was always on the field while the offense was going 3 and out.

The defense was unhealthy and confused because of lack of experience (upfront and in the secondary). When the defense was whole, the defense was not the problem for this team. In all reality, they were the bright spot in half of our games.

Having Savion Brown and Simeon Thomas on the field with the LB core .. I really think this D will be a strength of the team

Not gonna win very many games when you are only have 11 turnovers. Both sides of the ball stunk last year.

I think Savion is a FS, but digress. But I'm telling y'all, if used properly, the secondary will be a strength. I'm all in on Otha and Mario Osborne. Again, it's early, but the defensive line looks like a different unit. Sharp, quick, in shape..

Absolutely just pointing out Huds best teams didn't exactly have great defenses. He is an offensive guy... Last year was the first year our offense stunk and we went 4-8.

No you're correct. I'm saying I think he's better suited at FS.
