Figured we could get this ball rolling. I'm ready for football.

I just read on their message board that they may be starting 6 freshman on the defensive side of the ball in game one. Man, if we get some confidence moving the chains early and we can generate some pressure to keep Rypien off balance......who knows????

    Correction to above......

6 freshman may play heavily, but not all start. Still good for us.

I think they only have 5 returning starters on defense and if both safety's are suspended that would make it only 3

I think if we score more points than Boise we will have a really good shot at winning the game.

On a serious note. What do you think the crowd will be like at 11am and what would you say if it were at 6.

I'll go with 20k'ish at 11 and if it were at 6 around 30k. I think the time will have a big effect on the crowd which is a shame.

I don't think it would be that big of a differential in people. 22k at 11....big IF no rain before or at 6pm about 26-28k. Rain at any point 18k

11:00 game has it's perks here too gentlemen. Most families with kids (not too young) will enjoy this time slot. It's mid-day so you have time to get your chores done in the morning. Get out there for a little tailgate if you like that kind of thing. Watch the game from 11-2'ish then you have all afternoon for more football, dinner, kids stuff, etc. I think the heat will only deter a small group of people (families with babies and elderly).

With that being said, I'm going with 29,000 fans. If the weather guys make their normal misdiagnosed monsoon forecast, we'll have 19,000.

I think the Cajuns can hang with this team if we can move it early.

I know Boise fans were ____ed at the time slot because they are calling it a "breakfast" game. Then after about 20 posts in a guy chimes in who is a Boise fan but grew up in the South explained to them how the heat and humidity will feel. They really don't have a clue how heavy it can be. With that being said though....it is football, so regardless of temps, rain, snow, etc., let's line up and knock the snot outta people.

    Eff the B.S.

    Cajuns 37
    Boise 33

Cajuns combined rushing yards = 300+
    Eli - 140-150 yrds
    AJ/JD - 85-100 yrds
    Wright - 40-50 yrds
    Calais/Hoggins - 40-50 yrds
