Being comfortable is easy until you look around and lost all of your fans, supporters, and a lot of your political power because you no longer have any support. You first lose the people who follow you athletically and their financial support. People then say if you don't haven't the drive and talent to run an athletic department how can you be trusted with my dollars to advance academics. Then people start looking at you on your comfy couch wondering why you deserve to be on that comfy couch.

Scott and David Walker both interviewed Hudspeth. Scott Farmer's first recommendation was the former Georgia Southern HC, that is now the OL coach at Georgia Tech. Walkers first recommendation was Mark Hudspeth. Feel free to ask David Walker, it came straight from him.
