Not this time he didn't...we hired a search firm, He identified Marlin for David walker not HUD.

Well if you're going to go that route, this board (collectively) identified Hud as a viable candidate before any official search was conducted.

I'll gladly take that route...this board has done way more for this athletic department than Scott farmer

    Silly.

I'll ask you the same hypothetical, if we find ourselves in the AAC in 3 years, would you still want Farmer out?
Where have you ever seen me criticize Scott Farmer for loses? Because I haven't. I have never said anything like, "it's farmers fault Hud went 4-8 last year", and really I haven't seen anyone else do that.

Btw, Farmer didn't hire Mark Hudspeth, if you didn't know that.

    I'll answer you question with a question/comment:

If a group of select donors fly to Dallas, pick up AAC brass, take them here to see and experience what we have to offer, lock down some relationships, etc; Then, do the same with university presidents for AAC schools, sell the program, show them the plan (that we don't have), and get on good footing with those men.... And the time comes, and Savoie gets the call for the invite and Savoir accepts (because it's the President that decides)...

What role, out of the ordinary, did SF play? If Jim Harris uses his connections, what role did SF play? Some of you think that all progress is accomplished the same way. Just because Farmer has a name plate and a title, doesn't mean ____.

And before you say "Oh donors would not do that"... It happens all the time. In fact, I know for a fact, out of their own mouths, we have guys ready and willing to do just what I suggested.. This is how things get done.

Lol now the Pagin pitchfork posse don't acknowledge Farmer hired or had anything to do with installing Hud as coach. Classic!! You guys don't cease to amaze.

Is the low price of a barrel of oil and the rise of isis on farmer too??

Don't start running your mouth when you have no ___ing clue what you're talking about. Scott Farmer had absolutely nothing to do with hiring Hudspeth.

Why don't you ask Hud yourself.

Farner wanted Jeff Monken not Mark Hudspeth, the search firm identified Mark Hudspeth not Scott Farmer... If it was Scott Farmers choice or if his opinion mattered it would have been Jeff Monken who was the coach at then FCS Georgia southern.

So these donors bring said brass to see our town, then bring them to campus to only ride around and see the exterior of all our new facilities? Not talk to the actual people who would have to commit to buying production equipment, etc?

Unfortunately, don't think I'm buying what you're selling today.

David Walker was a numbers guy.

Scott Farmer did the leg work on getting Hud hired, which included getting the search firm involved.
