100% Correct. SF's "leadership" had nothing to do (other than to facilitate events) for any of the success UL has had athletically. The players and coaches did that, all Farmer did was his best to screw it up.

Has there ever been an AD at UL who has been fired? Whitey Urban maybe because of the USL basketball death penalty, but other than that has it been resign, quite, and move on?

Well, for starters, everyone with concerns about this should send a polite and civil email to Dr. Savoie [president@louisiana.edu] stating their concerns and a listing of reasons why you believe Farmer must go. Be aware that all Dr. Savoie's emails are screened. If you are rude, or if there is even a hint that you might blame him for this shirtshow, he will never see it.

WHATEVER YOU GUYS DO, keep up the pressure. Calls, emails, social media, letters, interest in local radio that challenges the admin, whatever it takes.

Yes sire, a campus facilities auxiliary was passed to help pay for the construction cost. It's my understanding that Moncla naming rights pays a certain amount of money into the pot as well.

I do not know of one who was fired, unless Urban was.

Someone start that page, and I might actually join FB.

Several #CajunNation memeber have been using #FireScottFarmer hashtag on Twitter. I added the Scott in because, when I searched #FireFarmer, there were other tweets from some Cleveland fans trying to get someone named "Farmer" fired for something else.

This gives us our own unique hashtag.

I hear you, and I don't think I'd change your mind either. If, by your example, we found ourselves in the AAC in a few years (again, unlikely), the good far outweighs the bad for me.

Take a second and think about the all the progress this athletic department has made over the past 5 years. Now envision a scenario where we are playing against the likes of Tulane, Houston, Tulsa, Memphis, and others in all sports, and that STILL doesn't allow you to support the current leadership? That's pretty hard up.

The facility improvements all have different stories. Not to mention, we were 30 years behind everyone else in major college football. I guess we should give Farmer credit because Charlie Moncla decided he wanted to give his money to build the IPF?

The idea that Farmer would LEAD (lol) this program to a P5 conference is insulting to my and anyone else that has half a brain's intelligence. No one is clamouring for that.
    I didn't say or reference a P5 conference.

So you're saying AD's don't deserve any credit for on field success?

Can you please state for the board the primary duties of an Atheltic director.
