1st question .. When did the budget increase from 10mil to 16 mil? Farmers answer - sometime in the fall, winter, spring time.

    WOW!
Yep, this is why I stated the cost was $16 to $17 million while others were questioning it. He knew it back then, it wasn't a secret. I'm glad people had the chance to hear it directly from him. There shouldn't be any doubt at this point whom bares the brunt of the blame for this project. JMO

Scott Farmer's voice is kind of similar to an underwater fot.

-Everyone laughs when they hear it
    -It always muddys the water
-A room is cleared when they smell it

Scott Underwater Fot Farmer just made a goon of himself on the radio

Something to get excited about going forward.

And again, thank you Scott for proving the "select few" on RP have been dead on since this debacle began.

Schultz is becoming the voice of the fans. GREAT questions.

How much bull____ did you guys hear in that interview? I've never seen an AD have literally NO answers."

Hawk and MAT--Are you as surprised as I am (after hearing Jay say that he'd have SF on BEV this week) that Farmer wouldn't wait until AFTER before talking to less "friendly" outlets?? While I think Jay WILL try to get certain questions answered, it's a good bet that he won't "go for the throat," so it AMAZES me that Farmer wouldn't want to take "batting practice" before going up against live pitchers!! WOW!! Is it possible that he's out there on orders from above??

I think he's been sent out by Savoie on a PR campaign. As for the radio question, I think it's better to go on BEV for "clarity of comments" after a bad interview..

But my real view on this is, maybe Farmer spoke to Chuck Wood prior to the interview and expected a much different tone from Dave after what happened with the suspension. It was obvious that Dave was prepared and Farmer was not. I'm basing my thoughts on how defensive and frustrated Farmer was for the majority of the interview and the things that have taken place over the last few weeks.

He would get destroyed as a defense lawyer...you don't defend anyone on a radio show where the prosecution doesn't get to talk or makes a point and gets hung up on.

Dave said when opened that Scott farmer/university contacted him to do the interview. You would think someone would be better prepared if it was their idea.

I'm no farmer advocate, but this statement here is what distinguishes my stance versus many on this board. Results matter to me. Multiple bowl championships, hosting regionals, facilities improvements, etc all deserve credit, and if a Farmer-led program would make the leap to the top non power 5 conference (although unlikely) under his watch, the man would be entitled to enormous amounts of credit for that.

The above statement proves that results don't matter with the ragin Pagin pitchfork posse. Your feelings and emotion are more important than any success and status this program could achieve.

You list all his good points, and you gloss over the very bad. The bad outweighs the good by a country mile. If you can't see that...nothing I can do to change your mind.

All the athletic accomplishments happened despite Farmers incompetence.

TheRoastBeef.Com bowl is a stepping stone, not a destination. Hosting regionals? Tony Robichaux gets 100% credit for everything this baseball program has accomplished.

The facility improvements all have different stories. Not to mention, we were 30 years behind everyone else in major college football. I guess we should give Farmer credit because Charlie Moncla decided he wanted to give his money to build the IPF?

The idea that Farmer would LEAD (lol) this program to a P5 conference is insulting to my and anyone else that has half a brain's intelligence. No one is clamouring for that.

The problem is YOU don't take that persons statement in it's totality. It's much like Lincoln saying he live with slavery if it preserved the Union, but he knew and said it was not possible. So it is simply wishful thinking that we could be in the AAC under FarmerBROWN, but he knows FarmerBROWN is a total fraud.

Your belief that results are all that matter is flawed. Results have to be coupled with integrity, and honesty. Neither of these traits belong to SF.
