The facility improvements all have different stories. Not to mention, we were 30 years behind everyone else in major college football. I guess we should give Farmer credit because Charlie Moncla decided he wanted to give his money to build the IPF?

The idea that Farmer would LEAD (lol) this program to a P5 conference is insulting to my and anyone else that has half a brain's intelligence. No one is clamouring for that.

Moncla would only get all the credit if it was all his idea to build an IPF.

Was it all his plan? Or did he volunteer to pay when told of someone elses want?

Pretty sure it was constructed with student fees, not donations. The name on the building is a sponsorship. Pretty sure the same money was used for the APC as well.

But that's irrelevant. Moncla doesn't get credit for seeing it through. He does get big Kudos for donating yuuuuge amount of coin though.

I'm no farmer advocate, but this statement here is what distinguishes my stance versus many on this board. Results matter to me. Multiple bowl championships, hosting regionals, facilities improvements, etc all deserve credit, and if a Farmer-led program would make the leap to the top non power 5 conference (although unlikely) under his watch, the man would be entitled to enormous amounts of credit for that.

The above statement proves that results don't matter with the ragin Pagin pitchfork posse. Your feelings and emotion are more important than any success and status this program could achieve.

The ONLY thing in that list of results that SF would have any effect on would be facilities. The rest he has NOTHING to do with!!!

Fair enough, I could use a better example:

Farmer would seemingly get credit for how the APC turned out, but in actuality, Hudspeth did more to keep that project on track than anyone.

I'm sorry brother... We have done all of that on the backs of the incredible coaches we have... In spite of our dreadful AD... Just imagine what would be possible with forward proactive management from our AD position!
