I've read it twice.
IMO she's in a new job, allegedly. I don't think she's nearly approaching her potential, so no the Peyer Principle isn't in play.
As stated she needs to broaden her view. That's all I ever said. SF isn't a good mentor
What she really needs to do if she wants to further her career is leave this university. Go to an athletic department that is successful.
Learn how the process works at places that have stellar track records. Not this bamboozled athletic department that we have. Ours is an absolute joke.
---Go read the book again as it seems you don't understand how it works-----her potential and performance is what allows her to advance to a higher level----quit referring to the department as the conversation dealt with her promotion and the great echelon UL academic performance has risen to under her watch---enjoy her promotion to do even better things----Are you pleased with the UL athletics academic performance??? Everything you post goes back to Farmer---So do you give him credit for this? As I have mentioned, the conference deal ______es me off to no end but in other areas he has done well!!!
Farmer has nothing to do with academic success, and he shouldn't. He should be worried about other things and let others do that.
------Well he has to be worried about it, but you make my point in hiring a true success story---I haven't been to athletic conference meetings in decades, but I have been in bunches of business meetings, and it makes it so much easier and efficient to have areas underneath function correctly---and when they perform to the standards which UL has achieved, it is certainly a win/win!!
