To be fair, nola.com/Times-Picayune published an article discussing the same list today, so it does seem like this is making the rounds right now. Just my opinion, but it seems more likely to me that The Advertiser would have cribbed it from nola.com than that the administration would have planted the story in The Advertiser.

What would be ironic is...our administration not commenting. That would be ironic wouldn't it. The acceptance of mediocrity by some our our administration is laughable. If they were in Coorperate America they would be shown the door long long ago. But, that's what's accepted here by some.

Our ranking is due to the atmosphere created by fans. The new turf and scoreboard don't get you on the radar. The Tigue is strictly a great venue from what Cajun fans have created.
