He tends to focus on the actual play and says little about the off the field issues when it comes to the Cajuns. Some prefer that approach. I do find his warnings of things like medicine seasons and scoring too many runs amusing.
Kevin Foote says things for reactions. I'm now convinced of that. The guy said Griffey Jr was not a first ballot HOF because he had injured seasons. Clown show.

I really enjoy the College Sports channel. Much better than any of the ESPN shows in my opinion and way less commercials/ads. Plus they have Hud on quite a bit.

Someone like Bitter, on the other hand, is bad radio and a jackass.
Bitter repeats himself too much. He repeats him self too much.

    "I certainly want to thank...."

    Pass.

I've heard WWL in Chicago at night. Really weird hearing Bobby Hebert up there.

In its day, WWL had a radio program called the Charlie Dougles Road Gang which catered to the trucking industries late night drivers and accepted call in requests. You'd hear calls from all over the country, and if I'm not mistaken, had a coverage area over most of the continental US.

Additionally, I thought the local AM's at one time had the option to reduce power or go directional?

Yep. I've been able to pick up WWL in Kansas and Colorado at night as well

Biggest tune out factor in all of radio is when Bitter says, "let me thank my fine sponsors".

I'm glad you guys had this convo. I spent a lot of time in northern Colorado / Southern Wyoming and it sounded like I was catching WWL. Thought either my truck had the best antenna ever made or I was losing my mind!
