Hope I'm wrong, but based on how the season ended, saw nothing to get excited about in the spring, perceived stubbornness on offense, a defense that could not stop a fot in a windstorm, and yet to open fall camp, 2 to 4 wins. I split the difference calling 3-9. UGLY losses to Boise and McNeese signals the next fan meltdown, with no funds to buy out Hud. That honeymoon ended last year.
Oh, and don't forget a divided locker room last year.
Please put on bulletin board if it helps.

I just don't see this happening. I hope I'm right. I think this program has earned the benefit of the doubt over the last five years. Not to say that 3-9 is unthinkable after last year. I just feel this team will have a big ____ you attitude in the fall, making us all happy!
I get the pessimism, but are you guys really talking about losing to the Pokes in a serious way?
Yup...one point or 100 points is serious. After we stomped a mud hole in them the "last time" we were going to play them back in the 80's, we've managed to ____ the bed every time since. Might not mean jack to the younger fans, but this goes back to why the old fans can't stand them for off the field issues. We should NEVER play a university in any sport that has fought us on every front going back to leaving the SLC. NEVER!
I see Boise ripping us a new one mentally we don't recover in time to beat McNeese. Our coaches could not overcome a mental problem last year, I don't see it happening in a week's time.
You guys that are buds with the brokebacks that post here...go read their posts on geauxcowboys
I agree we should never play them in anything other than baseball, but even after a lackluster season, our football team is not losing to them. All new coaching staff, new QB and young. Even if that weren't true, this is not the McNeese of days past.
We will crush that team, as we should.
4-8 and i just know McNeese is going to get us again.
If we can't beat McNeese we'll be lucky to win four.
Tulanes skill guys coming back weren't recruited to play in the option game the new coach likes to run. It's gonna take a couple of years of recruiting to get the right personnel to run it. I love that offensive philosophy and think it gives you the best chance for the little guy to knock off the big boys.
I got 7-5. But it's hard to say with a completely new offensive system being installed that none of us has seen, that will have lots of very young receivers and O linemen that this staff is very high on.
7-5
If the offensive line improves, I can see 9-3
Lol. The unwavering optimism of the sports fan is a modern marvel.
