I understand what you meant Crazy, but it doesn't matter if we win by 2 pts. or 4tds. as long as we win. In most given years, the SBC isn't leaps and bounds above the SLC. So, would I like to pound the "LEGENDS OF THE FALL" from Lake Charles, yes! But I would settle for a win at this point.

I agree a win is a win and I'll take a W anyway we can get it.

Five turnovers will do that to you.

If we play well and make a respectable showing against Boise, then I think we'll come out the following weekend and blow McNeese off the field. If Boise embarrasses us on our own field the way Akron did last year, then I think Hudspeth will struggle to get this team ready to play against a very motivated McNeese team. I sure wish we were playing McNeese before we played Boise.

You could be right. I used to think and write a lot about what I thought Hud should do to move the program upward. After last year, I'm just waiting to see what happens. And I don't really have a good bead on what that will be.

But Tulane only has 13 starters back.

    5 on offense
    8 on defense

All new scheme for this team and we catch them relatively early so kinks may not be worked out for the option.

I still think we beat them as it looks like a rebuilding year for Fritz and it really may take a year to get the offense running on all cylinders.
The triple option is quickly learned. The question is ability.

Defenses sure seem to struggle with learning to defend it.

That is a different animal. Defending it requires everybody does their job. In many ways it's like the squeez bunt. You just don't execute as a defense.

---Any time you get people playing assignment football it is good for the offense---the deal with this offense now is the # of different formations, shifts, misdirection, and motion ---So every time just about that a new look is created by the afore mentioned it can change assignments---One screwup and they are off and running---complacency by DBs expecting a run can quickly change into a TD---I ran it on staffs with the wishbone, split backs, and I formations and the modern look is a lil of each---tough to get ready for in a week!!!

Hud is going to spread it so wide and deep next year... Cajun Field will dislocate both her hips, knees and angles trying to get her feet to touch behind her ears. I think that's what he said.
