That was my blow up doll girl friend that was standing next to me. I was lathered up from head to toe with fire retardant cream. I shouldn't have used propane to fill her up last night. I was in a hurry and she hates to go out in public when she's "sagging". I'm no worse for the wear, but I'm afraid "Hot Mama Baby Love" is no more. She went out with a big bang... just like she likes.
Stadium will be built just maybe not in time for season opener. March/April 2017.
Jury is still out on that. There is absolutely nothing that guarantees that it will be ready in 2017 It was established a week ago that the stadium would get built. We are already a month past the supposed start date. What we all knew weeks ago, was finally confirmed by Jay Walker, Friday. "someone dropped the ball." Must be something really ____ed up for BOP to admit the admin screwed this project
For a donor sponsored stadium to be so far out of budget doesn't even begin to tell the story. Edward Murrow would be asking S Farmer if he has no shame. Clearly Jay must be confusing himself with Bagdad Bob.
That someone in the athletic department "dropped the ball" (dropped? more like vomited...) is proof enough that SF should be dismissed immediately. I managed a guy once who did more than drop a ball, and we both got launched, even though I had no clue what he was doing. But it was my RESPONSIBILITY to know, therefore, I was kicked out as well.
The Alden Report was released more than 90 days ago. You spend that sort of time and money on something only to let it languish on the shelf is unforgivable. I could give a crap about SF, however, the Athletes at UL deserve better than this.
Jay did a great disservice to Coach Robe. In his now famous buffoon comment he said that late cost increases caused the product to balloon way beyond the ten million that was talked about in the fall.
I submit to y'all that Coach Robe is not a child in the candy store, and was saying I want this, I want that without a clue to the costs and implications. Instead I submit that as has been said Coach Robe and everyone else at UL knew this project would be over thirteen million. So Jays challenge that the ten million was the figure SF was working with holds no water, and even more makes Coach Robe look the foolish child just grabbing all the candy he could fit into a bag.
SF needs to go, Town Square needs to go, UL needs a better outlet for it's branding efforts. This stadium fiasco is just the latest f-up by UL and whose finger prints are all over it like the others, none other than SF, who by the way has been a proven liar for several years now.
