I've done a number of interviews with Coach Robichaux, a few have been emotional at times like Coach Lotief. I have a good feel when he is getting a little emotional. While there is nothing earth shattering in what he stated, I'm extremely grateful to have a coach of his character and integrity put himself out there on the record while his superiors are not even willing to speak the local media. I'm certain they won't be happy he did the interview, but I felt it was necessary to let him say what he wanted on the subject and speak to his supporters.
Thanks. And thanks for the link; I just listened to it. I know I will get blasted for saying this, but it sounds like things are progressing....not as fast as we hoped or needed, but the delays all sound like typical construction issues. I did not detect any concern about the project not getting funded, or delayed due to that issue, or because of the lack of the NTP, etc. Like others have said, maybe he wouldn't have....but i just have doubts about that....he is too honest a person. He could've dodged it pretty good if he wanted to and not given as much details as did. Just my opinion.
Not that there arent questions to be answered by SF and the admin. A lot of questions.

Not taking any credit for Coach Robichaux coming on the show Zee, it was his decision to make. Others like Luke Johnson and Buckley are trying to get answers, but have been stonewalled. Luke Johnson let his opinion be known today on Bumper to Bumper when he stated, "I'm in the business of information and apparently they are in the business of not giving any!" That speaks volumes in my book.

"Silent Phase" takes on a whole new connotation.

Hopefully i dont sound like too much tin foil, but is there a possibility, even as small as ten percent chance, that the fact the contractors have lswho ties could lead them to have caused these problems instead of the admin?

without BJ, we would be left with a lot of conjecture period. I worked for the university from 1991 to 1999. trust me, its a kremlin, soviet type atmosphere. Man we are falling behind the 8 ball in so many things and losing fan support like never before. Most of us expect nothing but a 7-5 season in football at best. We will suck in basketball. We have only our spring sports to hold our head high on and T-SLOW and Framer is destroying that. Dark days ahead as I know for a fact after several calls today that donations are down. All in all that is a necessary evil. POWER OF THE PURSE is all we have.

No... What? You think they would purposely sabotage a $17 million project because of who they root for or where they went to school? What is wrong with everyone? This isn't a conspiracy... Our AD is an incompetent schmuck... Is that really so hard to believe? He has given us plenty of examples of that

Have to say he's been giving the schedule for months. If it's delayed I think it wasn't from the planning side (Tony, architect, contractor).

I did notice that Lourdes Park has been taken down and the construction fencing takes up much more area.
