Yeah...I get it know. When someone pulls funding they get thunderous applause and a pat on the back with at a boys...but when someone actually spells out WHY they will stop beating their head against a wall you call it giving up?

Pulling funding is the only recourse most of us have right now, I won't tell people what they should or should not do with their money. I may have misread CajunExpress's post, but I think when he stated "giving up", he meant fighting for something better from this administration. If I'm wrong, he can correct me.

In my original post, I stated that Farmer and Dr. Savioe need to be held accountable, to the extent they had control over what they screwed up, for what they screwed up. And...hell yeah fight for something better for the University from the admin, but the state of Louisiana is ____ed. Right or wrong, I think you would agree; there are things going on behind the scenes that nobody on this board is privy to.

My point of the original post was to bring to light the stark contrast between Houston and Louisiana. I had know idea Houstoncajun was posting things about UH, but...just goes to show you that Houston (the city) has their act together. Louisiana, on the other hand, has an extremely distinguished record of the opposite. It will only get worse with JBE in office. The public school system in Lafayette will continue to degrade, therefore further degrading the majority of the workforce in Lafayette. Lousiana, therefore UL and Lafayette, is in a death spiral. It will be 10-20 years if ever before a recovery happens. Good luck growing UL and Lafayette.

Incredibly, I understand what you're saying. Here's the difference. When Scott Farmer lied to my face, I took it for what it was: an insult to my intelligence. When he lies to your face, I'm guessing you just find a way to rationalize why he did it?

You must not be to intelligent if you let someone lie to your face.....just saying Farmer should be unwilling to lie to a guy with your inside information, high financial standing (definitely more than 1k), and obvious influence you wield over the administration.

I mean...doesn't he know that you will post how much of a lying ____ bag he is once you get back to your vehicle?

If I was Farmer...I would be afraid even to talk to you...or at least have a script, prepared notes or something.
