Have you been asked to write a check? I know I have not been, the silent phase appears to be the don't even ask phase. Typical BS from Farmer's mouthpiece.

I begged, wrote emails, etc. about sending out pamphlets to all season ticket holders. Send out information emails regarding donations, monies collected, goals needed to get project started.

F'n loud arse crickets is all I got.

Start date was necessarily moved back due to possibility of superregional being hosted.

Rumor that a $2 million donation had been pulled was inaccurate. (This corroborates what was said in this thread).

2 Phase construction on Lemoine website is old info and should be updated.

Cost of project has risen considerably.

Doesn't expect it to be ready for opening game of season. Compared it the the South Al (?) reconstruction a few years ago, which was supposed to be ready for opening game but wasn't.

Did he mention "rumor" that we only had 3 million collected so far?

1. The Lemoine websight is misleading. IT IS. I read 2 phases.. between end of 16 and beginning of 17. Others read it to say phase 1 after 16 and phase 2 after 17. Thats what Jay said and I agree

2. The stadium will be completed this year.. maybe not by opening day but our butts will be in the new Tigue.. I believe that

3. No $2 million pledge has been pulled

4. 70% of $10 million has been received. The project is going to be over-run

Instead of pretending they had 70% of the money, imagine if they would have started some local campaign like "Let's Build Tony's House" or something clever sounding and plastered that all over billboards, emails, commercials, etc.
