Rumor that a $2 million donation had been pulled was inaccurate. (This corroborates what was said in this thread).

2 Phase construction on Lemoine website is old info and should be updated.

Cost of project has risen considerably.

Doesn't expect it to be ready for opening game of season. Compared it the the South Al (?) reconstruction a few years ago, which was supposed to be ready for opening game but wasn't.

Have to say that it was understood when we put in bids for the regional/supers that early season games would probably have to be played on the road or in other accommodations as the coaches were pretty sure it wouldn't be ready for opening weekend of the season.

Robe talked earlier in the year at a Diamond Club meeting how they didn't expect the new Tigue to be ready for opening day 2017. Everyone knew that. He said they would likely have to play away and at Fabacher for a few weeks in the beginning.
