    Which one is it?
At this point, it really doesn't matter whatever number was threatened.

The very fact that there is confusion at all on this issue (let alone that faceless buffoons like you and me have learned about it) falls squarely on the silence from the AD's office.

I have ZERO confidence in the AD.

It's a good thing that we have the greatest assemblage of coaches in the university's history. I have great faith in them.

Nothing ever really happened, Dre. But despite that, it was apparently better to alienate some of the fans than to explain it. I just don't feel welcome by UL anymore. I think Jay Walker and Scott Farmer are in charge of UL athletics now. And only certain fan types are allowed. I think a much more complacent low testosterone manageable subset must be the new target.

It's been tough being a Cajun fan over the many years. It may just be easier not being one. It got exciting for a while. But... its probably best for a lot of us to turn things over to others and find another passion.

    Did shots at Cabo Wabo.

Ordered a round for lady monkee, monkee-bro and monkette-in-law.

    Ordered another round.

    I was with lightweights.

Did you know tequila helps with cholesterol and triglycerides?

We should sip tequila as we sip whiskey. Shooting it is why it has its reputation.

But I was at Sammy's place, so I shot.

Was I supposed to stay away from your sister or Sammy?

You're an idiot if you think that Farmer or whoever was involved in this ever thought they would be able to get their hands on $17 million dollars by June 2017 without some sort of financing, especially when the biggest donor wasn't even scheduled to fulfill his pledge until 2022. That's not how it works. You get pledges, you get some cash in hand, then you make up the rest with a bridge loan or bond or other type of financing until the rest of the cash comes in.

There very well may be incompetence involved here. I don't know. Pretty soon a real member of the media is going to get a chance to do some good journalism and we'll get the real story here.

In the meantime, I'm still excited that we're getting a 17 million dollar baseball stadium. I don't really give a sh if it gets delayed by a couple weeks. I suppose that makes me "part of the problem" right?
    You're an idiot.

Have you ever dealt with multi-million dollar loans? Because I have. How can a sport that's not self sufficient cover a new note? Even if it's $100/year the data proves they can't afford it. So That's my answer for your question.

Your list of major Farmer blunders was dead on, but I will add one more to the list. I was approached by several football coaches after the last bowl game and they told me Farmer had informed them their bonuses could not be paid out of the bowl money because of the conference share. He didn't have a timeline for them and thus told them the money would have to come from another source. They asked to me if RCAF was going to help or that it was going to be handled internally because Farmer had told one of them he would let them know and the next time they wanted to discuss anything with him, make a appointment. Unbeknownst to Farmer, Coach Hud had asked one of our fundraisers to help raise the money and when I shared this information in a private chat, one of our current RP posters thought it was important he get the information from Scott Farmer. When he questioned Farmer about it and he asked who was suppose to raise the funds, Scott blew his cork screw and called the fundraiser down to his office and tried to fire him. This fan, much like many on this board just don't understand how Farmer operates and most of them don't care.
mistakes happen all the time in every business and in life but be a man, have some integrity and own up to it. Clean up your own messes, don't throw people under the bus. Don't flat out lie to people. We are a unique people who I feel kind of live life a certain way... Scott Farmer does not represent what I believe to be our way of life... He is a slimeball, who lies, throws people under the bus, blames everyone but himself and in general treats people like ___. I do not want someone like that representing us, I'd be willing to bet the people that work for him feel the same. He has dug this hole, he was given every chance to be successful and all he does is spit in the face of the people he is in charge of and the fans. All of this on top of him being incompetent at his actual job... It's about principal. He doesn't deserve to be in the position he is in.... A lot greater people out there who would love to take his place. I don't know how much longer I can support something that accepts that from a person in a position of leadership. If we had a slimeball coach who constantly wronged recruits and lied to the fans people would be calling for his head even if he was successfull and yet here this guy is who isn't even good at his job and and he is jerk at doing it.

Well don't expect for these people to change their opinions about Farmer as long as he plays golf and drinks beer with them at the Corner Bar. You know they would much rather be big fish in a small pond.
